Every year I look forward to foaling season with great anticipation. The guessing game of whether it will be a filly or a colt and then the most exciting part, what colour will it be? Foals are a lot of work, but I thrive on that and take great pleasure in producing top quality, well rounded individuals that have had the handling and exposure to cope with the things that life may throw at them. I get regular feedback on all the foals I have bred to date and to hear how well they are all doing in their new homes gives me a great sense of pride and satisfaction.

2008 Foals

Zintahn Orion
Sire: Alliewag Dances with Wolves
Dam: Quintally Stardust
Star has outdone herself yet again this year, by producing another strapping
big foal. Orion is showing great conformation and mind blowing movement so
far with the most beautiful soft personality. He has lovely expressive eyes
and is just the sweetest softest foal I have ever dealt with, he has a very
endearing personality. 50% arabian.

Congratulations to Casey of Warrnambool, Vic on her purchase of Orion.

Zintahn Casanova
Sire: Alliewag Dances with Wolves
Dam: Free Spirit Camelot
To say I am pleased with this foal is an understatement. He is everything
I hoped this cross would be. He is very typey, has a magnificent friendly
demeanour and a very loveable personality. He has lovely conformation, good
compact body on strong and straight legs. He seems to be a perfect cross between
sire and dam. Casanova is registered pinto and partbred arabian (50%) and
should mature around 14.3 - 15hh.
Casanova has been sold and is now located in Hobart
with his new mum Kerry.

Zintahn Aurora
Sire: Alliewag Dances with Wolves
Dam: Roxy Hart
WOW is all I can say about this filly foal. She is just adorable and so super
sweet and friendly. A truly gorgeous filly with a genuine temperament and
desire to please. She has excellent conformation, is super pretty and with
such beautiful markings, this girl will surely stand out in the crowd. She
is the stuff fairytales are made of! Aurora should mature somewhere around
14.2 - 15hh and is already showing fabulous movement, inherent of her breeding.
She is registered pinto and partbred arabian.

Aurora has been sold and is now located in Victoria with her new owner Amanda.
2007 Foals

Zintahn Zikaysha
Sire: Eistje
Dam: Springfield Park Tiara
Zikaysha is a dream come true. I was adamant I would get a solid coloured
foal from this mating this year, but once again Casey has outdone herself.
What an amazing mare she is to have produced 3 out of 3 magnificent coloured
foals, one being a black and white homozygous tobiano! Zikaysha is everything
I dream of, upstanding, elegant, refined, superbly built for the dressage
arena. She already exhibits extravagant and breathtaking movement inherent
of her Friesian ancestory. To me, this filly is one of those "once in a lifetime"
foals and I strongly believe that she will be a horse to watch out for in
the future.
7th November - 21st November 2007 - my darling Zikki was such a bubbly,
healthy and vibrant foal, I was shocked and saddened to find her sick with
a mystery illness. She did not respond to any treatment and slipped away at
only 14 days of age to a suspected lightning strike. Run free little one.

Zintahn Fantasia
Sire: Anawa Mahuska
Dam: Quintally Stardust
Fanta is a beautiful chestnut and white medicine hat filly. She is everything
I strive to produce, strong and athletic, well conformed, an easy going attitude
and a very pleasant "can do" personality. She even has her own set of party
tricks, she can bow and lay down on command! She is from well proven bloodlines
and I am sure she will follow in her full siblings hoofprints. Fanta made
the long trip to Hobart on 2/5/08 and handled it like a complete professional,
anyone would think she had been traipsing around in floats her whole life.
Congrats to Kylie Hutcheon on her purchase of Fanta, I know you will
make us proud!

2006 Foals

Zintahn Zodiac
Sire: Anawa Mahuska
Dam: Quintally Stardust
Zac as he is affectionately known is a beautiful athletic type with big long
easy strides, a super easy going, laid back temperament. To date he has been
the easiest foal I have ever had any dealings with, nothing is ever a problem
for him and absolutely no fight or dirt in him. He is a real gem.
Congrats to Jen Clingly, I wish you and Zac all the best in the future.

Zintahn Lil Diva
Sire: Blackwood Springs Laredo
Dam: Carinya Park Opalite
Diva was creating dramas before she was even born, she even went as far as
being born over 5 weeks late. She is a precocious little Madam, full of life
and bursting with personality, but always respectful and minds her manners.
She loves anything to do with people and always wants to know what is going
on and how she can be involved. Diva is the first filly for her mother Opal
who has been a very difficult mare to get in foal, it took myself and many
other people 4 years of hard work, sweat and tears to get a confirmed pregnancy.
I could not be happier with the result, Diva is very precious!
Congrats to Pat Gillespie, I wish you and my gorgeous Dippy the best of luck in the future and I hope you grow to love her as much as I do.

Zintahn Kissaya
Sire: Cherox Tchaikovsky
Dam: Springfield Glamour Girl (dec)
Kissaya arrived unannounced and a little bit early, she was a little on the
small side but full of attitude, she was a fighter. Her mother Cassie was
my main riding horse and absolutely dynamite in the dressage ring. Kissaya
has the most amazing movement I have ever seen on a young foal, she has it
all, power, elevation, expression, pizazz, she will blow the judges away!
Congrats to Merry Durkin on your purchase of Kissaya. I wish you years
of happiness with her!
2005 Foal

Zintahn Ariadne
Sire: Devlin Park Kay Cee
Dam: Springfield Park Tiara
Aria is a beautifully marked black and white homozygous tobiano filly. She
had a bit of a rough start as a foal but it certainly has not harmed her in
any way. She is very well grown and quite large for her age, she will mature
around 15.2 - 15.3hh. She is a pleasure to do anything with and so level headed
for one so young. She has been shown once with success and I plan to take
her out again in the future. When she is of age, Aria will be bred to Remus
Von Berkley, a magnificent big Friesian colt with impeccable breeding.
NEWSFLASH! - Aria has had her first foal, a very impressive black tobiano colt.
2004 Foals

Zintahn Jenaya
Sire: Anawa Mahuska
Dam: Burrowa Pearl
Gemma is the love of my life, we share a bond like no other. I have no words
for it, she just gets me and I get her. She also had a rough start to life,
being born 3 weeks overdue, she was very overcooked and had a few issues with
wonky legs etc, which all sorted itself out after a few weeks. The first week
was fairly intensive and I think that is where the bond began. She hates being
away from me and stresses the little things. Gemma is the sort of horse you
can always rely on, she is the quiet achiever, always there and always watching,
waiting for her chance to shine. She has inherited her mothers amazing movement,
an expressive high knee and hock action that just makes you drool.

Zintahn Odysseus
Sire: Cherox Tchaikovsky
Dam: Springfield Glamour Girl (dec)
Odyssey was a beautiful foal, correct in every way, lovely to deal with, so
very trainable and loveable. He is a perfect cross of his father, a purebred
arabian and his mother, a connemara sporthorse. He obtained the best qualities
of both, the expression, flair and beauty of the arabian and the work ethic,
power and personality of the connemara sporthorse. He went to his new home
as a weanling and I couldnt be happier with the horse he is turning in to.
He is a real credit to his new owners who love him dearly. He is now broken
in and took to it like a duck to water, I wouldnt expect any less of him.
Congrats to Steve and Kim, I wish you much success with this beautiful
boy.
2003 Foal

Zintahn Enyarla
Sire: Anawa Mahuska
Dam: Trusty Tambo (dec)
Enya's arrival into the world was more eventful than most as she was tragically
born through the rectum. Inca, her mother tore very very badly and the only
thing that saved her was that Enya was a particularly small foal. Inca had
to have a lot of post foaling care, drawn out over the months, this did not
effect Enya in the slightest and she continued to grow and thrive and has
matured into a lovely big solid mare. She went to her new home as a weanling
and is now broken to saddle, which I have been told was all smooth sailing.
Judging by her movement as a youngster, I am sure she is lovely to ride.
Congratulations to Annette Baker on the purchase of Enya.
2002 Foal

Zintahn True Magic
Sire: True Hearted
Dam: Carinya Park Opalite
Magic was the first foal I bred and was everything I had dreamed he would
be. He had it all, looks, conformation, movement, colour, temperament, he
was just amazing. I may of course be biased being the first foal and all .
. . He went to his first show at 8 weeks of age and came home with Champion
Junior as well as a few first place ribbons. At 12 weeks of age, Magic got
spooked in a storm and ran through a fence severing the flexor tendon in his
front leg. When I found him, he had lost a lot of blood and tragically the
vets could not save him. Putting him down was the hardest thing I have ever
had to do, I miss him terribly. So long my beautiful cheeky boy, run free.
